The U.F.C.W Local 247 Training Centre is the only accredited union training facility in Canada.  Our State of the Art training facility in New Westminster offers many courses that are of interest to our members and their immediate family, free of charge.  We also offer on line courses for those members who are unable to access our New Westminster facility.

A trades exploration program offered by the UFCW Local 247 Training and Education Centre Society for unemployed youth.  This program offers a hands-on opportunity to try out various trades such as carpentry, painting and decorating, masonry trades, transportation and the metal/welding trades.

A community based counselling service for children and youth between 5 - 18 years of age living in the Bridgeview,

Surrey-Central and Guildford communities

Aspect Small Business Employee Training Program

Helps small businesses to grow the potential of their employees by providing them access to government funded training.

 

 

 

 

 Assists women to explore the trades and prepare for employment, training or apprenticeship in the trades.
